Building Bridges

As Many of you may not know I recently got back from a trip to L.A. where I was at a leadership summit for Film and the Arts. As you could probably assume I learned about film and the arts but what I really learned was about leadership. I learned how to communicate with others and inspire them to go beyond what they ever thought possible.

So...i began to think: How can I bring this experience home with me to share with the students back at home and in the community? Right then, I got this vision:

What if for one weekend students from all the high schools in my district came together to be one unified body of people to come and learn about leadership through different workshops and experiences they have during an event.

I started thinking about who really inspired me in L.A. and I started calling up speakers that I felt I really wanted students to meet and one of them was so inspired of what I was trying to do that she decided to come for FREE. That was so inspiring for me to hear.

Write now as I write this i am working on the event in hopes that we can develop it more and create it into an event.

Your also probably wondering what is building bridges anyway? well Building Bridges is a simple concept. Its building bridges to the next level of leadership.
